Can I have multiple teams in the same league?

Yes, you can set up and control multiple teams in the same league using only one username.

I received an email with my league ID and password, but when I try to log in with it, it says it's incorrect?

Each user has to create their own personal username and password. The league ID and password sent to you are used to 'Join a League' once you have registered on the site.

I ran a pool on the site last year, can you send out an email to all of them with the new league ID and password for this season?

Yes we can! We have also set up a general invite page for you to use for those that weren't in the league.

I'd like a place to post important league information, like how to pay and prizing info, is that possible?

Each league has a 'league note' area where the commissioner can post whatever they see fit. There is also a league message board where anyone in the league can post.

Where can I keep track of who has paid for their teams?

In the 'Teams' list in the league menu, you can mark teams as paid. If they haven't paid, a link to 'Mark Paid' will exist. Once you click on the link they will be updated as paid and no longer show that link.

Some people have been leaving tasteless messages on the message board, can I remove them?

If you are the league Commish, you can. Hosted Pools is not responsible for, nor do we censor the league message boards. Keeping them 'clean' is the responsibility of the league Commish, so if you have a problem with the boards, contact your league commissioner. We do ask the Commish's to keep in mind who their audience is, and monitor their message board accordingly.

Can we accept late entries to our league?

You can. Entries are not closed until the commissioner closes them. Teams will be given the default picks for the week for whatever type of pool they're in.

We use a different 'default' pick for our league than the site does. Can the commissioner of the league modify the pick to our default?

Definitely. There are a number of reasons a commissioner may have to make someones pick, and we've allowed for that.

How much will my league cost?

The total cost will depend on the size and type of league you run. The minimum is $25 (all prices Canadian). The more teams in your league, the less the price per team will be. Use our pricing tool to get an estimate for your league.

How do I pay for my league?

You can pay by PayPal (handles Credit Cards) or via EMT (if you're in Canada). Payment info will be displayed when you close your league entries.

When do I pay for my league?

As the total cost is set by the size of your league, payments become due on the day your league games start. Payments are expected within 2 weeks of the due date. Late payments will result in leagues being suspended (not updated) and eventually deleted.

We ran a Survivor Pool once already this season and want to start another one, will we have to pay full price?

If the same commissioner sets up multiple pools of the same type (Survivor) in one NHL season, there will be a discount on the second pool, provided there aren't a significantly greater number of entries. If this applies to you, send us a message, and we will arrange something.

Where do I find out how much I owe for my league?

Once you close entries to your league, a 'Payment' link will show up in your league menu with all of the required payment information.
